Introducing a Glamourous Gig Harbor Formal Living and Dining Room

A well-designed home should reflect both the homeowner’s personality and lifestyle, including their desire to host friends and family for elevated dinners and lively cocktail hours. Our latest project, Glamorous Gig Harbor Living Space, was about creating the perfect setting for these luxurious social events. With stunning views of the Puget Sound, our client's formal living room and dining room had an incredible backdrop, but the space lacked the sophistication to match. Our goal was to elevate the rooms and create a welcoming setting in which our client could host her nearest and dearest.

Introducing our newest project- a glamourous formal entertaining space in Gig Harbor, WA.

From the start, (before pictures are at the end of the post) we had some wonderful existing pieces to work with. The client had a beautiful dining table, a sofa, a loveseat, and a few other pieces that blended seamlessly into the new design. Instead of starting from scratch, we embraced these elements and built a refined, elevated space around them.

The dining room table was among the great furnishings original to the project.

The living room layout needed a refresh to encourage intimate conversation during gatherings. We also gave the existing fireplace a facelift by filling in the dated niche and adding a mantel. The dining room and foyer required minimal layout changes, but we focused on introducing fresh furnishings and a cohesive color scheme of cream, gold, and multiple shades of blue to bring everything together.

One of the biggest additions to the dining room was a gorgeous sideboard. Not only does it provide essential storage for serving ware, but it also acts as a functional surface for presenting food and drinks when guests arrive. New chairs and lighting were also added to further elevate the space.

The foyer, which sets the tone for the entire home, now offers an inviting and sophisticated entryway, ensuring guests feel welcomed into the home the moment they step inside.

The result is a living space that perfectly balances glamour and warmth, giving our client the ideal backdrop for the unforgettable dinner parties she’s been dreaming of for years. Now, she’s ready to welcome friends and family into a home that truly shines.
